Pearson VUE

We are delighted that we have joined the world’s largest most secure testing network Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing (CBT) business of Pearson.

Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre Selects are privately owned, third-party testing facilities which are authorised by Pearson VUE to deliver on-site, on-demand testing for IT certification, academic admission and professional licensure exams. They have been carefully selected for their quality, service and amenities, which is upgraded to incorporate advanced security and surveillance technology.

Pearson VUE provides a full suite of services from test development to data management, and delivers exams through the world’s most comprehensive and secure network of test centres in more than 175 countries. Pearson VUE is a business of Pearson (NYSE: PSO; LSE: PSON), the international education company, whose businesses also include the Financial Times Group, Pearson Education and the Penguin Group.

On January 6-2014, Family Computers has signed an agreement with Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing (CBT) business of Pearson, to become a Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre Select. This means Family Computers will be able to deliver exams for leading IT certification programmes such as Cisco, CompTIA, EMC, HP, LPI, Oracle and VMware. Family Computers will also have the ability to deliver the Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) – the most widely used assessment for graduate management admissions, as well as exams for other select Pearson VUE clients in the certification, licensure and academic admissions markets.

The agreement welcomes Family Computers as part of the Learning Evolution which Pearson is fostering in academic institutions and companies across the globe. The concept is simple: to have testing and certification at the heart of the learning experience. Family Computers will play its part by offering accessible and secure testing to candidates.

Family Computers was chosen as a Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre Select in part because of its high quality standards and outstanding customer service. Test centres that become a part of this network offer enhanced security and monitoring services. The Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre Select network provides Pearson VUE clients with the option of having their exams delivered in premier authorised test centres around the world.

Candidate Rules

Personal items are not allowed in the testing room.
Erasable noteboards and other exam materials may not be used until the exam has started
Eating, drinking, smoking, talking or disturbing other candidates is prohibited
You will be monitored by the administrator during your exam
Notify the administrator if you experience problems with your exam
Do not ask anyone for assistance answering exam questions
Take your ID with you when you exit and return from any breaks
Do not try to take copies of exam questions from the room or share them with others
